Meagan Monique Good was born on the 8th, 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle. Her mother managed her in her teen years and to her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. She grew up living in Canyon Country with her three siblings and brothers in California. As a child, at four years of age, she began acting. She started her acting career as an extra in television series like Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. When she was 13, she made her debut in the film, Friday. Eve's Bayou, 1997. This was her debut film. Image Award nominated. Good started with minor roles in film and TV for a few years before moving into more mature roles at the start of the 2000s. On Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter, she played Nina. From 1998 to 2001, she played Nina on the Nickelodeon television series Cousin Squeeter. In addition, she landed tiny roles in movies House Party Down to the last Minute as well as 3 Strikes. She played the role of Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. In 2004, she was a part-time actress in D.E.B.S the action comedy movie which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. She then appeared in films such as You Get Served The Cookout as well as Venom One Missed Call Waist Deep, as well as The Love Guru. The year 2012 saw her in both T.V. as well as in film, she was the lead character Mya in the series that starred multiple actors Think Like a Man and Ms. Stevens in Dysfunctional Friends. Kara Killmer began her career on screen in the year 2010 following her appearances in a variety of local plays. The actress was featured in Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream in its pilot episode. The show was centered around a group who began living within Hollywood California.
