Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known for the world of pop music, is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. The child of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on January 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There, with three other students, he created his group musical, White Eskimo. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to their excellent performance. The musician was always fascinated by the arts, however he also wished to work as an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. He worked for a time for a short time in a bakeshop within his town with the aim of helping financially at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, and performed Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He was selected. The reason for this was that the group split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation began in 2010, and the five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. During the competition the band performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders for the prize. The band was in the third spot behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who won. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell had paid two million pounds in a contract for One Direction.
