Amber Benson, an American producer and singer, is also a songwriter. Her most recognizable role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she's produced, directed and starred for her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was a part of the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson is the daughter born on the 8th of January 1977 to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Danielle Benson was her artistic younger sister. Her father is Jewish while her mother was born and raised in the state of Alabama. Southern Baptist Benson grew up at the Reform synagogue in Alabama. Benson appeared on Morganville The Series and in The Killing Jar since Buffy's end. In the background, Benson used her writing talent to create The Ghosts of Albion television series.
