Andrea Joy Cook
A.J. Cook is known best as an actor from Canada. She is best known as a Canadian actress who appeared for The Virgin Suicides (1998) and Final Destination 2(2003). Also, she played Jennifer "JJ" Jareau on the show Criminal Minds. Cook's television credits includes Dead Like Me, Tru Calling, Higher Ground, Bluemoon, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, Elvis Meets Nixon, In His Father's Shoes, Laser Hawk and the television movie Island Heat. She has appeared in the major films Blood Suckers, Final Destination II, The House Next Door, Out Cold, Ripper, The Virgin Suicides, Kisses and The Tinker. Cook was raised in Whitby the city of Ontario. She was raised through her parents Sandra and Mike who were both teachers at school. The rest of her siblings were Angela, Nathan, and Paul. Her family was Mormon or part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and only does roles that are not in conflict with her beliefs and teachings in The Mormon Church. The jazz, ballet and tap classes when she was a child. Her participation in various contests for dance, however it wasn't until she reached 17 years of age that she made the decision to pursue acting. Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze became her motivation to becoming an actor. Cook made contact with Nathan Andersen while taking a film course at Utah Valley University in the summer of 2001, married her. They have an infant son, Mekhai Allan Andersen, born on September 13, 2008. The couple currently reside in Los Angeles
